Hmmm, today is Saturday...I'll have a sausage biscuit, coffee, and potato cakes on Monday morning at about 8:00 am.
Someone may have found something in a salad but I suspect 1 in millions of bags of salad would not be a reason to trash this facility. A facility whose sanitation ratings are astoundingly high around the world.
By the way, do you have a pet, a bird, or a non-handwashing person in your household who contaminates food. Does your cat walk on the counters? Does your dog lick your hands after he has cleaned himself with his tongue? Does uncle Isadore still drink milk and juice from the container and put it back in the refrigerator? Do you touch your face or hair when you are preparing or serving food?
A sterile environment is impossible. Chill out!

Not all McDonald's are the same. Some are cleaner than others, and plus, they make their own salads, they do not come in that way. A McDonald's 15 Min's from where I live was shut down about 6 years ago because they were just so filthy. I worked for a McDonald's years ago, and this one was really strict on cleanliness. Don't know if they still are now, but like I said, not all McDonald's are the same.

I don't doubt that this happened. I have seen some pretty nasty things working in food service for as long as I have. Rats are always an issue in fall and winter, esp if you have an uninterested manager, or a cheap owner.
I don't eat at Mc Donalds anyways, because of the poor quality of meat that they buy. Just because it is all beef, doesn't mean it is part of the cow that I would prefer.

I wouldn't touch anything from MacDonald's anyway. The food is terrible and full of additives including salt and monosodium glutamate to enhance the taste. I remember going to a MacDonald's in Southend, England about 20 years ago where i ordered a large coke. After a couple of slurps it was gone and I took the lid off to find it full of ice. I let it melt and it was over half the volume of the cup. I complained and the guy said they always served it that way. I asked for a refund since I didn't appreciate paying coke price for water. They didn't give me any money but I got a hot apple slice and nearly burned my mouth. After that I always asked for drinks without ice, which they don't like, since you then get a full cup of what, after all, you have paid for. I decided several years ago that the stuff they sold was muck anyway and haven't been in one since and certainly won't be going again. The same goes for KFC too.

I can't remember the last time I ate at a McDonald's. Occasionally I'll stop at the B&K Lounge but not too often for that either. I'm a Panda Express girl, even though I don't tolerate chicken very well.

devour a bag of microwave popcorn to carry you over. Then get 2 McDoubles and a wide drink at McDonalds then a fowl palms basket at DQ and a snowfall, then visit BK and get a Double Whopper fee meal with onion earrings.

I don't eat there very much any way only once in a while and it is usually for breakfast. And now that I know that it may be longer but I am going to guess that it will be at least another 6 months before we go there again.

I just don't eat there anymore anyway.
The burgers taste ok, but the buns are like soggy cotton wool and I dislike "mean stringy chips"
In fairness, their milkshakes DO taste good - but other than that, I cannot stand them.
KFC on the other hand once a month or so is enjoyable.

Ill probably go later today. I find it hard to beleive that a 6" rat could be in those small 10" diameter containers and not be seen until it was served.
