Looking to go out somewhere where the kids won't be bored, but we won't be stressed! Preferably somewhere in South Yorkshire. Any ideas?

You could try the following pub chain

A Chinese or Japanese restaurant is usually the restaurant of choice for most of my Jewish friends. Food is lovely and plentiful. Oh, my! I'm getting so hungry thinking about it!

By-the-by! Many persons are not Christians and do not celebrate Christmas so don't be so concerned about their losing traditions, etc.

xmas day should be spent at home with your kids, put the time in and cook the turkey n ham instead of trying to get out of the situ,
and watch those kids eyes when they open there presents, instead of a happy meal in mc,s you wont regret it have a good xmas,

Don't be so lazy and selfish. Kids' memories of their younger lives are of times such as Christmas. Make it special, with a real family dinner and games and fun.

Put yourself out for a few hours. Your kids will love you for it.

I agree with what Lynn S said, I mean I would rather spend Xmas Day with my family rather than waiter for families who are too lazy to cook Xmas dinner themselves.

All I would say is please reconsider. The people who are working that day would much rather spend it at home with their families, and if the bookings are not made, their managers will not open and make them work.
Would you want to work Christmas day?
