My favorite is the collie hit by a trolley. http://www.road-kill-cafe.com/roadkill.html
On more serious note, doesn't this make you wonder how your dinner ended up in your favorite restaurant? http://www.bannergraphic.com/story/1287130.html

Sometimes I go to a place like Ruby Tuesday, TGI Fridays or Applebee's with a friend or two, and we just split an appetizer or we just have dessert. I'm just wondering if it's viewed as impolite by the waiters or something.

Example:
We ate at IHOP one day and the service was actually fast.....food was okay.....glass was always full or half full........and the cost was $29.00......I admit we tipped her $5.00
Okay next eat out night we ate at OLIVE GARDEN.....waitresses english was questionable......the steaks were still bloody inside (medium rare).......ordered well done........my food was okay........she didn't bring condiments requested till third time asked......drinks were empty for a long time........lets put it this way the service wasn't good.......the food was alright........we tipped her $10.00 but I feel tips really should be because of the service......after all isn't that what we tip for? Any good advice?

I am 1/2 Asian 1/2 white. I am thinking of applying for a job there. Do they have a certain type that they usually hire?

And to some people, please do not call me a s*lut or anything. I just need a decent job.

I had a really good steak at a restaurant last night and brought half of it home. How do I reheat it without drying it out or otherwise ruining it?

First off I must STRESS, I’m not talking about people that are on business travel. I understand people on business doing it. I’m talking about people that are close to home & decide to go to a restaurant alone.

I just don’t understand the following steps one goes thru when eating alone:

- decides to forego the food in their home (if no food it would make sense to go to a grocery store)
- actually gets in vehicle and drives to restaurant
- asks to be seated for ONE

Now as your seated, what the hell do you do when as you wait for the meal?

Then the meal is served and you simply eat it… What is the point?

To me, going out to a restaurant is a chance to talk with someone & enjoy intelligent conversation over a meal. Going alone, you are just fulfilling the act of eating. Sounds like something a caveman would do.

Not to mention, there are no booths for one or tables set for one.

Someone please explain?

We have all seen them at some point! I know that it effects whether I eat at that paticular place or not again if the rest rooms are nasty..Yuck!! Toilet paper on the floor, toilet not flushed! Faucett left on and hairs in the sink!! I know it makes afraid to even use the bathroom sometimes! How do you feel and what really makes you feel ill regarding unclean restrooms? Your chance to sound off :)

I mean the way your waiter checks on you in a "real" sit-down dining restaurant. There have been times a cashier or manager will come out and ask how my food is, and it kind of annoys me because i'm not expecting that at a fast food place i just kind of want to eat and be left alone. If something were wrong i'd go to the counter and tell them. I'm i alone here?
