Left monopoly money as a tip?

I haven't, but it sounds kind of funny.

Giselle, I'm not the one that wants to have a number of inbred, confused children running into the walls, and muttering, ma ma, ma ma! And you don't have to worry about going to restuerants, because I'm sure hot dogs will be the daily menu!

sure do this if you like speacial sauce and really bad service! eventually it will get to where you cant get waited on except by a manager and I promise you do that to them you'll be banned from the resturaunt. Or better yet I'll call your boss and tell him to pay you 90% of your paycheck in monopoly money how would you like it cause I think that would be hilarious! Morons shouldnt leave the house without a lease!

Definietly not funny. If you do this NEVER go back to the same place. Trust me every server there will know that you did that and you will recieve horrible service and maybe spit in your food.

What a horrible thing! Become a server and you will NEVER think about doing this again!

Remember servers make about 2.13 an hour and depend on their tips.

No because the wait staff tend to be underpaid (below the minimum wage) and rely on tips (15% is customary but more if service is excellent) to survive. Might be humorous on comedy central but not real life.

No, however one time we ate at this middle eastern restaurant. Apparently most middle eastern places don't take credit cards. I had just enough cash to cover our party, but not enough for tip. So I left a coupon for a free drink at Starbucks.

No, and that's not funny at all. Servers get very low wages. They depend on tips to get by. Your sense of humor is really lame.

It would be about as funny if you got a fake check instead of your paycheck. That would suck.

No but I ate at a restaurant where I had a huge bill. Paid the bill then left the exact as the bill for a tip on the table. Ran out laughing, that will sure confuse them.

If you were a waiter, would you think it was funny if someone did that to you?
