Why does the % that you leave for a TIP keep creeping upwards? Inflation accounts for the price of the meal going up, but the TIP % should always remain the same. When I was young i remember 6%, than 10%, than 15% and now i see it creeping to 20%. Doesnt it make more sense that the meal price would increase and along with it the TIP?

sidekick operator in Chennai to run the city routes without needing a license from the Government of TamilNadu, and enjoying tax break for a period of 5 years because it is
a) meeting a public demand that would not otherwise be met;
b) operating a transport service to serve the public;
c) creating competition for the old and useless public transport system that is currently plying city roads.

The Government should not interfere in the management or running of the new private bus operators apart from satisfying that the vehicles are only having FITNESS certificate.

Choices must reflect Tamil society and can be either Tamil or English names. (No Hindi names).

Suggest?

Friends will be visiting SF for the Folsom Street Fair/Leatherfest in couple weeks; plane, hotel room booked. Have already hit Google and found couple restaurant links. Now refining search--HELP!!!

Looking for reasonably priced eating places for use during the Fair---geographic area is South of Market District, between 7th and 12th Streets.

They also plan to do: Fisherman's Wharf, Chinatown (both adore Peking Duck, BTW), Japantown, Ghirardelli Square, and Napa Valley. Any really great "dining experiences" in these areas, that DON'T require a 2nd mortgage on a house? I'd like for them to have the best time possible and do NOT know the city, so any insider information would be great. Thanks!

Will post addt'l data when avail abt preferred food types; assume moderate prices for most part, with 1-2 really nice dinners (little black dress/tie and jacket).

It is alleged that soft drink companies put aspartame into their diet cola. Aspartame is a sweet substance that can subsitute sugar.

Do soft drink companies put aspartame into normal cola as well?
