No it isn't included in any soda except diet ones. In regular sodas and colas they use cane sugar (almost pure sucrose) and most often high fructose corn syrup, which is basically a corn syrup that they boil to break down some of the di-hexoses into more simple mono-hexoses (fructose in this case), which gives you the sweet flavor.
The aspartame, saccharine, sucralose, etc are all sweeteners that are 10 to 100 times sweeter than sucrose (table sugar) but are proven to be carcinogens in thousands of cases.
Hope this helps :)

No it's not needed because they put sugar in it.
Also, apartame is a definite hunger enhancer. It reacts with a portion of the brain that causes you to be more hungry. Most diet centers tell you to refrain from drinking liquids with aspartame.

Put Aspartame into a search website like Yahoo or Google...and see what you get! You might be AMAZED. It is so TOTALLY bad for you.
If the company puts it in, they have to list it on the outside of the can/bottle. So, look for it. & then look it up.

No. High fructose corn syrup is probably cheaper, anyway.
You might remember Coca-Cola C2, which was half-regular coke, half-diet, which used both. That's the only instance that comes to mind.
