It doesn't have to be fancy, but address book, calendar, able to have some software put on it, and able to have books put on it. Also it needs to be able to play a variety of games. But I don't want internet access or anything like that. Also, good to OK battery life.

I have always used PCs until today when I bought a Mac Book Pro. I installed the Palm software onto my Mac, but I'm afraid to hotsync for fear of what will happen. How do, or can I even do this? I know that Palm isn't famous for their customer support and I haven't found anything in the manual or on their website covering this topic.

I have an XV6700 with WM5. By default it has the start button at the top so I can get to my programs, but at the bottom of my screen there's another tab with a shortcut to my calendar and contacts. I have downloaded shortcut software to change it but there are no settings to change these two programs to something else. I don't use the calendar or even the contacts. Can these programs be changed to IE or Media Player for example.

I have a Zire 72 and am starting to see that it's battery is not lasting as long as it used to. I am questioning whether I should replace the internal battery. It would mean that I would have to buy a Torx screwdriver set and get the battery from a 3rd party battery maker. I dont have much experience, but don't want to have to send it to Palm and spend a lot of money. What advice do you all have?

Im after a PDA with a colour screen. NOT a phone PDA, just one where i can throw my paper filo fax in the bin and use a PDA instead, to keep dates, appointments, peoples addresses telephone numbers etc in.......and it cant be to expensive i think i could stretch to about £80.....so any ideas?
