I have replaced the battery and it still does not work. Is it a piece of junk or what ?

i have palm One Tungsten too and sometimes I've had problems turning it on and off. You can try to plug it into the wall with the adaptor to see if there is a charging problem.

Also sometimes the "littlegreen" off and off switch gets stuck.
i would use the metal stylet to push it up and down to try to get it working.

If all else fails-- try to get a refund or it can be used as a paperweight to hold all the paperwork that came with it in place.

You can also go to the PalmOne Website http://www.palm.com/us/

good luck.

Charge it up! My tungsten E is notorious for "losing charge" your best bet is to dock it or plug it in for 45 minutes then try to switch it on while it is still plugged, this has worked for me.

When you do get it on, you will have to start from scratch just as if yoyu are taking out of the package brand new!

I hope that you have backed up your stuff! IF not, too bad, it's gone!

Good luck!

1: Charge it for a couple of hours
2: Try the on/off button

3: if that fails try other button
4: if that fails press the reset.

Mine got stuck sometimes, and all that would get it started was a reset, still would not swap it for a pocket PC ever.
