Personally I prefer electronic but it comes down to how much information you want or need to keep. My phone book is over 520 name at them moment so electronic is a real bonus when it comes to finding names quickly and easily. Ditto the diary.
The other big advantage with electronic is that you generally get a backup of your data on your PC so if you loose your organiser you haven't lost all your data. Loose your Filofax and your stuffed.
An electronic organiser doesn't get bigger as you put more paper in either, and nowadays you can make freehand notes and import Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents too. Many organisers are blue-tooth and/or wi-fi enabled so you can pair them with your phone and surf the net, as well as sending and receiving emails.

With electronic organisers there is one clincher: you HAVE to go over to it 100%. If you try and run a paper diary alongside an electronic organiser because you don't quite trust it, it'll end in tears. Just take a deep breath and go for it and all will be well.

Electronic for me every time.
With a regular back up, I can store a suitcase full of stuff on it.

However I still like to think on Paper, which means I still have to carry a pad with me.

Does paper organizer fit in your back pocket? Does it beep to remind you of your upcoming appointment?

That's my answer.

Paper for sure.

The batteries won't go flat.
If you are in a car crash - the police won't need a password to get into a book.
