My new 8GB iPod froze. I can't get it unfrozen. I've only had it about two days. I've tried connecting it to my computer but it doesn't do anything.

When I connect it to speakers or to the earbuds it doesnt play very loud. I have it scrolled over to the loudest that it offers, is there a way to turn it louder? or are there any portable speakers that have additional volume control, I am just looking to get it to play loud enough to hear accross the room.

I have a first generation I-pod that I recently purchased. I downloaded the video trailer for the 007 movie Casino Royale as a podcast from Apples quicktime website. But when I sync my Nano it isnt showing up. What am I doing wrong?

Our office just moved. I sit in a cubicle - and to my horror - have found that in our new office we have NO radio reception whatsoever.

Plus - because of the firewall here - I can't stream anything thru the net.

Does anyone have any advice - or am I screwed?

Maybe there's a type of radio with an extra strong antenna?....or maybe satellite radio is the answer? I don't know anything about it....can you get a satellite radio the same way as a regular radio - or does it only come installed in a car.

Forgive my ignorance - I really don't know anything about this kind of thing.

It needs to be Mac & PC compatible, have a decent battery life, and be able to play video files, and store colour photos (so have a colour screen)....sure there are loads of pages I could look at online but I just can;t decide....thanks!

My computer recently crashed and i had to re-install my software, i backed up everything i neded to except my music which i figured was on my I-pod and which in turn would mirror the librarys in I-tunes, but, apple was a step ahead of me. The new ipods only work with the new i tunes, which requires you to synk your ipod to your library, and that puts a code on your ipod tellin your itunes it is aloud to put music on it. To do that, you have to wipe the i pods library. A teacher told me that there is a third party software the i can download from the internet. He also said that this can become extra credit work so its even more imparitive that i get this done. Im aloud to use three websights this being one, so im in no way breaking rules lol cause some ppl have yelled at me for that on this sight before. Basicly, does anyone know where i can get this software or software that would work. Remember new ipods cant be seen in windows exp. or my computer

I need the following things from an MP3 player.
1. Long battery life.
2. REALLY easy to put songs on.
3. Supersmall earphones.
4. I want to be able to recharge anywhere, not just on a PC!
