I need to buy 2 of them for my daughters for Christmas and I dont want to pay a fortune. I am looking for a website that sells off brand IPOD's or MP 3 players?

How long until we totally replace the home stereo system with some kind of computer jukebox that downloads whatever we want to listen to from the internet? And yes I know the IPod already exists and gets us a long way there, but we are not quite there yet. So my question is really whether I should go to Tower Records sale and buy a lot of CD's for 60% off, or whether I'm going to be throwing all my CD's in the garbage in a year or two anyway.

what i have heard is this:
apple ipod : breaks down after three or five months [which is very bad ] has games
Zen vision M: lives a bit longer than ipod , [but will eventually breakdown] , is a lot more cheaper, looks better and is more easily handled , does not have games

Should I buy an ipod or are they just both bad

I need specific details and everyones advise from their experience and pros and cons
My sister has told me that her friends who had ipods broke down after little while my sister had herself as Zen stayed with her for a while but it then broke down
I'm not sure made it was because they misused it or dropped it a lot ,i can't really know please help

I downloaded a couple songs from iTunes. I put them on my samsung mp3 player, but they won't play. When I look at the icons on the computer it says they are on my mp3 player. The picture icon next to the song has a little picture of a lock on it. Can I unlock the songs so I can hear them on my mp3 player. I was able to click on iTunes burn all songs downloaded to a cd, so I was able to listen to them on that. But I want them on mp3 for the gym? What do I do to hear songs from iTunes on my mp3?

I have a stereo with a four disc CD player. When I try to play my CD's, the music will cut off and then back on. i know the CD's themselves do not have any scratches on them (to cause them to skip) because when I play them on another CD player, they don't skip.

I've tried using one of those generic CD lens cleaners but it didn't help. Any suggestions?

I have an mp3 player not an ipod and itunes will only let you put there songs on ipods. I like there site because you can buy original version songs (explicit or not) per song and not have to have a membership. Any websites like this for mp3 players?

Ok I was reading over the description of this mp3 player but it says that you can get music from online stores like napster and all that stuff. what i wanted to know was if i got this could i take my music from my cds and put it into the mp3 player? i don't think there would be any point in me buying it if i would have to buy all of music over from an online store. So if you know if i could transfer my music from my cds on my computer to this SanDisk Sansa e250 2GB MP3 Video Player Please let me know. thanks

I have this player but the software is beyond the worst. When I transfer songs, some dont and only a few do transfer. So that say they transfered I cant find on my player. Help?
