Ok I was reading over the description of this mp3 player but it says that you can get music from online stores like napster and all that stuff. what i wanted to know was if i got this could i take my music from my cds and put it into the mp3 player? i don't think there would be any point in me buying it if i would have to buy all of music over from an online store. So if you know if i could transfer my music from my cds on my computer to this SanDisk Sansa e250 2GB MP3 Video Player Please let me know. thanks

Hi! I have a Sansa (without video, one of the original 2GB.) You can "rip" audio off CDs in Windows Media Player and save the file in WMA format. All Sansa models are WMA compatible. You can also go to Yahoo! Music and any other place where the files are in MP3 or WMA formats. As for iTunes, they aren't compatible with the Sansa. You have to burn those files onto CD and then rip them into Windows Media Player as well.

If you have windows media player on your pc all you have to do is load your music cd and then bring up windows media player and select "rip to computer" -- this will put your music on your computer and from there you can easily put it on your MP3 player.
