blue, green, or silver? And why?
Please answer truthfully and with a reason.(eg. I would not choose silver because I find that it scratches easily. Or; I bought the green one and it turned out to be super bright. If you're not going for bold then don't choose green)

Okay, I would like to get an iPOD and I have seen how much space there is which is a lot, but the only thing stopping me is that I heard on the news and read an article online about it being bad for your ears and they were working on fixing the problem.

Is it fixed yet?

I have recently reformatted my computer therefore I have lost all my songs from iTunes but they are still on my iPod. I want to put them back into iTunes and not lose them. There is about 6000 songs I don't want to lose like last time I did this.
There must be software to allow me to do this...

Whenever I go to connect it to my computer, it sayd the drive can't be found, and every time I turn my iPod on after a while, it always resarts by itself and asks me what language I want the iPod in. Do I send the iPod to Apple or can I fix it myself? If I do have to send it in, how do you, and if I don't, how do I fix it?

Features that I'm looking for: resume/bookmarking WITHIN tracks; very fast fast-foward; fast-forward/rewind control that doesn't easily skip to the end or beginning of a track, etc.

Do you have to use an Apple P.C. to upload MP3 files onto it or can you just use a regular P.C. to do it? Also, can some I-Pods play videos as well and again the question above applies. i'm not a techno-phobe, but I've never needed to have the use of an I-Pod in the past.

OK...I know I can turn in my current ipod (which has a battery that won't hold a charge) and get a 10% discount. OR I can use my employer discount at 6%.

So...should I turn in my old one and get a 10% discount, or use my 6% discount and then replace the battery in my old ipod and give it to someone who wants one (like my sister)?

after ripping some dvd's to my hard drive using DVD shrink or DVD crypter, i tried to convert them to my Zen Vision: M. But the files won't completely copy. Soemtimes only abotu a min of a 20 min file will transfer, orther times the playback on my Vison: M will skip chunks of the video. Anyone else have this problem and know how to fix it?

I just bought an mp3 palyer and i'm disgusted with the battery issue. It's probably going to last me about 12-18 months and then I have to ship it out, pay about $50 for a new battery, plus shipping charges, spend about 2 weeks w/o the mp3 player. Why don't they make players with batteries the consumer can replace. What a racket!!

Hi, I just recently bought a ipod nano, second generation and I had a look at the head phone, and where the two wires split into the left ear peice and the right, there is a little plastic thingy that is used to split the two wires neatly. This bit is removeable as in you can move it along the wire. At first I thought the point of having this little plastic thingy was so that you could wear the headphones around your neck, but later found out that you don't actually get enough wire to do so. So my question is, what is the point of having this little plastic thingy? Since if it has no use, why the hell is it on the headphone.

I know it is a stupid question, but it is an interesting one...

Thanks
