I want to be able to put DVDs I already have on my ipod. I know I have to change the format but I have no idea how. Does anyone have any idea? And preferably easy instructions please.

You're right. You need to change the format into MP4 or Mpg4. In order to do so you need a special software. Use 3gp Converter. Here's the link:

Good Luck.

Yes. I put movies onto my Ipod
all the time. It makes sitting in the
waiting rooms at Doctor's offices
much more enjoyable. I found
that the screen on my ipod was
a bit small to enjoy some movies
with so I purchased a jewlers loop
with a head band, and I wear that
whenever i want to watch the movies.

This weird friend of mine gets X Rated
stuff off of the Internet and loads his
ipod with that. So he has sex on the
move I guess.

If you are trying to move it from a dvd. use dvdfab to rip it, then use VOBmerge to merge the files together, then use 3gp converter to turn it into mpeg4 format.
