Open itunes, connect your ipod.
When the icon appears highlight it to bring up your ipod's track listing.
Now click once on the first tune on the list, scroll to the bottom of the list, hold down the shift (arrow) key and click once on the last tune. Once everything is highlighted hit Delete.
P.S. MAKE SURE YOU ARE DELETING THE IPOD'S TUNES, NOT YOUR ENTIRE LIBRARY!

Hope that helps...

Go to MY COMPYUTER & right-click on the i-Pod icon, choose format to erase all. OR go to i-Tunes- in the left menu, choose iPod under DEVICES, then choose EXPLORE. From there you should be able to delete & add. E-mail me if it doesn't work.
