I have a bunch of old rare VHS tapes that cannot normally be bought on DVD. I want to transform the VHS tapes into playable DVD formats. I do have a DVD burner and VHS player, but I do not know how to go about transferring VHS data to a DVD.

Thank you.

I am planning to install a ceiling mounted HD projector and pull-down widescreen.

The problem is that the screen will pull down right in front of the speaker for my center channel audio. I would think that this will affect the balance of my surround sound, correct?

I can't move the speakers below the screen. Does anyone know if the screen will have a really noticable effect? Any ideas for getting around this?

Finally got a digital reciever to act as a go between for my older coaxial standard 5.1 cinema sound system and my newer optical sound standard DVD recorder.

Everything worked great when we first put it all together but now it's developed a high pitched whine that won't go away and it's really annoying. We thought it might be the optical cable but it was fine to start with.

The whining pitch also differs depending on what channel we're watching too, on one channel it's not very noticable but it is unacceptable on all the other channels and DVD's.

Any suggestions as to what it is and how we can sort the problem..?

I've been at this all week. Brand new receiver (tested in store, works), brand new speaker cables, subwoofers have been tested and work, all cable connections have been double and triple checked. I've contacted the store from which I bought the receiver as well as the manufacturer for help, they are at a loss.

The problem: There is no sound coming from my subwoofers! Like I said above, every individual component has been tested, everything works, yet when I turn on my receiver and listen to radio, TV, or DVD, there is no bass sound coming from the subwoofers. All other speakers work fine.

What on earth could the problem be? I've tapped out all my resources, I don't know what's left.

The standard HD output for Playstation 3 is HDMI. I have a 3 year old maybe 4, HDTV that I was hoping to hook the PS3 up to, however my HDTV does not have HDMI inputs. What can I do to solve this problem? Is there some sort of HDMI adapter to the RCA High Definition Cable? Thanks

Hi there, our school technology dept. is looking for a used or new low cost LCD projector . No more than 1000 lumens and if we could find one used with no bulb, which model has a low cost replacement bulb. Which model(s) do you know of that would fit the bill for us. We will use it probably no more than 10 feet away from the screen. Thank you for your answers, I will appreciate all even though only one answer gets voted on as "best"

Hello
I bought a KEF PSW2000 subwoofer not too long ago, but never opened the box. Now that I have setup my speaker system, I have the sub ready to go, but when I turned on the power, the fuse got blown. So I replaced it with another fuse that was included with the sub, the fuse blew up again when power was turned on.
I need to know what I did wrong or what needs to be done to fix this.
Thanks
