I have a Sony stereo amp that takes normal speaker ends that you push the twisted wire end into. The bose cube speakers have RCA ends on them, and it appears there's 1 jack per channel. Normal speaker wire has two wires per channel. Can anyone advise me on this? The came as part of the house I bought.

Does anyone know of a website that is keeping score on the HD-DVD vs. Bule-Ray battle. I'm looking for stats how many units sold, studio commitment and title availability. I'm also curious which one you think will win in the end.

I am always buying speakers from thrift stores and Goodwill stores whenever i see good matching pairs. I am dying to get a pair like my roommates old pair, but even when i get huge Nearly brand new speakers they just don't put out the impact of some older ones. Any Ideas? Comments.

I have a Sony STR-DB795 receiver amp rated at 7 x 100W, 8ohms. I am looking at a variety of center speakers and one I like (cosmetically) is a Sony model rated at 100W, 3 ohms. Can I run this speaker from my rec/amp safely or will there be problems?

I have a 36in RCA cabinet tv that is tied into a satellite dish with a dual mode receiver that enables the one receiver to serve 3 different tvs. Also attached to this tv is a Samsung DVD-VCR player. The problem is that some DVD's just won't play. The screen says this disc cannot be played, yet it plays ok on another dvd player that is built into a very inexpensive Magnavox TV. The disks that won't play are rented ones or some mood-enhancers I bought that play natural sounds, music, and a changing scene similar to a screensaver, for example a fire in a fireplace or waterfalls. Again, these same DVD's play ok on my Magnavox. I contacted Dish tech support both on the phone and online to no avail. Phone guy said he'd get back to me but didn't. Online had no sensible way to describe the problem. I tried to contact
Samsung; again, communication failed. I fed all the codes the satellite gave me into the satellite receiver to enable my Samsung, but it didn't work.

i have had my optoma ep719 projector for a little over a month and am pleased with it. i use it for my computer, dvd player, and video game systems. however, just recently i have noticed a strange artifact in the picture. there is a small black dot that dances around the picture and is only really noticeable when the picture is still or very white. it sometimes looks like there is a line going from the bottom of the dot, it never stays still its always bouncing around the middle of the picture. does anyone know what is causing this and if so how do i go about fixing it. thank you.

Both my cable TV DVR and my DVD Player have component cable outputs. I want to connect them to my HD-TV but there is only 1 set of imputs on my TV. I can't connect them both, but I want to. Do I need some type of special box or a splitter or something so I can get them both connected to the TV? I tried routing one through the other (DVR to DVD player and vice versa) but it's impossible. Please help!

I currently run a cable TV hookup through a VCR which allows me to watch it through a TV and keep a DVD hooked up to the same TV. Are there any DVD players built with this function of allowing input (like VCRs do) so that you can use them as receivers to run a cable connection through the way that you can with VCRs?
