Try projector central that websites has many reviews.There you can find your price range.I would get something that kicks out 720p native though.

Minimum specs:
1500-2000 lumens
2000:1 contrast ratio (higher the better)
Try to get Faroudja processing
1280x720 native resolution
HDMI and component input
3:2 pulldown

Projector Central is a great spot for reviews. AVS Forum - great spot for advice and to see what other Xbox 360 users are using.
I still recommend LCD or plasma over projectors. The problem with projectors is the maintenance cost. You need to spend $300-$500 per a lamp every 1000-3000 hours. Those hours rack up very quickly. If you are an avid gamer and movie watcher, that means 1-2 years you have to buy a new lamp. The only advantages are portability and the only solution to get a 10 ft image in your living room.
