You usually have to run the audio/video cables through a VCR from your receiver to get the sound to come out of your speakers. Most TV's don't have audio/video jacks to just hook up a radio to it...

Get some RCA cables and attach the L and the R audio
out of your TV to the audio in on your stereo (you connect
the video RCA cable in the same manner) -and voila!

the tv should have one red and one white audio out plugs.......and ur radio should have the same red and white audio plugs but input....just plug them together and it should work...
