VCR, DVD player, TV and surround amp. Where can I get a good wiring diagram. Most of it's obvious but does the aerial go into the amp or the VCR first? How many phono leads does the sub-woofer require?

I'm looking to buy the Slingbox AV. If I hook it up to my digital cable box, will one person be able to watch the TV that's hooked that box and another person watch the same TV through the remote connection simutainously?

I am looking at the Panasonic SH-FX60 which also uses 2.4GHz and I keep the laptop in the room with the TV so I know the broadband signal is already in the room. I don't want to buy the wireless speaker system if it won't work so if anyone has experience with this problem please let me know what you can.

I want just the screen part, no frame and not the metal part that the screen retracts into. I just want it to put on my wall somewhere, without any of that extra stuff, because I don't think it will work in my set up with all of that.

I have been looking around for a full size home sound system, but all there is out there is mini systems and home theather audio. I cannot find any multi component systems with the 4 feet tall speakers and the rack stand w/ glass doors. Does anybody know if they still make them?

can you still get the 96/24 hi-rez multi-channel surround if you connect to a 96/24 capable multi-channel receiver? i understand that it is only in the decoding stage that limits playback of the multi-channel 96/24 part of dvd-a. ordinary dvd player connected via tos-link into multi-channel 96/24 capable receiver driving six separate channels and a subwoofer. will it work? thanks for taking the time to view my question.

I have an Onkyo TX-SR503 7.1-Channel Home Theater Receiver. I was thinking about doing a little modding on it due to its temperature after it is on for a while.

I want to put some kind of pc fan in it to help keep temps down a little. If anyone has any suggestions, ideas, concerns, whatever! Let me hear 'em!

I want to do this and tap into the power supply somehow without disrupting the normal operation of my receiver. I don't want to disrupt the sound or power output to my speakers at all. This isn't something that has to be that fancy. It would turn on with the receiver, keep things cool while I'm watching movies and turns off when I shut it down. Any ideas?

Here is a link to my receiver and specs:

I want to start copying old Video's over to DVD and also shows off of DirectTV. I'm hoping to get a reliable unit with upconverting, campatibility to all or most formats for recording & playback. Not familiar with this terminology, it's purpose or importance. So your help is greatly appreciated.

These are the 2 I'm comparing:

1. Samsung DVD-VR330
2. JVC DR-MV7S

Thanks for your help.

I've used up 100ft of 16g. wire for 3 of the 4 speakers. Can I use 18g wire for the 4th speaker, which is closest to the TV/ home theatre system or should I purchase more 16g wiring. I have some 18g available, but wanted to make sure if it's going to make a difference in sound.
