I Have a JVC home theater system and I cant get the sound to work Correctly. Right now there is very little sound and if I try to change the volume I hear a lound "click" or "thunk" noise. No matter what I try it will not work. Any Ideas?

I am "shooting in the dark" on this issue, but does your home theater system have input level adjustments for your various sources? If so, check those to make sure that they are not set too low. I had this happen to me not long ago. In my case it was the CD input. I went into the receiver's "menu", called up level adjustments and boosted the level at the CD input. Problem fixed. Perhaps, in your case, more than one input is set too low. That's the only other theory that I can offer.

also check your speaker connections as one or more may be creating a short circuit
