I called my friend today, and the phone rang as usual, then as it was getting to his answering machine a loud buzzing noise started. It sounded like, "Meeeeppppp!!!" It wouldn't stop, and his answering machine never kicked in.

So, I called him back, and everything worked out fine. His answering machine kicked in, etc.

Does anyone know what happened the first time? I live in Texas in the area that has had a ton of flooding and I was calling long distance (TN), do you think that had something to do with it?

Just curious.

I recently got a krzr phone with a 1GB memory card. However, even though it recognizes that the card is there, it will not save any pictures, videos, etc. on it, and now my phone memory is full when i have almost nothing on the phone. I followed the booklet and changed the save options to "Card Memory" , but then when i try to take a picture for example it always says "UNABLE TO SAVE PICTURE". What is wrong here or what do i need to do? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a sprint, and it keeps calling my house phone randomly. I'll have it in my pocket and then I hear a beep and my house number is on the screen. Whenever it calls my house phone automatically it says,"Number not registered, please find." My cell also rings when it calls and my house phone rings at the exact same time. How do I make it stop?

Occasionally he's seen speaking on a car phone, and I'm guessing that at the time (the 1970s) only government officials or exceptionally important civilians were allowed access to car phones. Does anyone happen to know what rules or laws were in place back then? Certainly something isn't necessarily valid on the basis of appearing in a TV show, but non-landlines must have begun sometime.

I am a current Verizon customer, and want to add another line on. I have a 2 yr old Samsung phone (by Verizon) and want to activate the line and start a family plan under Verizon, instead of my current individual plan.

I keep getting a call from +10000000000 on my cell phone and don't want to waste minutes answering it ( I refuse to answer unless I recognize the number) but what kind of a phone number is that and how can someone get a number like that. Probably a solicitor of some sort.

I just read about sprint terminating service because of "excessive" customer service complaints... If these people paid their bill on time then they shouldn't have their service cut. The fact is, if these people called so much then they obviously have problems that need to be addressed... Most companies charge $150-200 to terminate a contract early, and I feel they should have to pay those customers that fee. Any opinions?

I recently saw the new LG Chocolate Mint Blue on verizonwireless.com.... I've looked, but all I can find is the price with a new 2 year contract. I already have a contract, so I'm looking for the price it would cost without getting a new contract. Any help? x] Also, does anyone know of any sites where I could find one to buy, besides verizon? Thanks. =]
