do I have to pay for text messages send to AIM computers? I have a verizon america's choice family plan- we have 4 phones on it... and i don't know how i can tell how much text messages cost.

If you do not have a messaging plan then all messages generated by the instant messaging are $0.15 per message sent or received. If you are using the Mobile IM program on your phone, don't forget that it also uses a message whenever you are logging in, refreshing your buddy list, adding/removing buddies, logging off, etc. If you are going to be doing a lot of messaging, your family may want to change to an America's Choice Select calling plan which includes unlimited text/pix messaging for all of the lines on the family plan.
