I'm not sure, but check your phone, you may be able to screen the call. I do that to all unknown numbers. They think it's an answering machine and leave a message, but you are actually listening and can press talk if you decide you want to talk to them. If nothing else, I'd call my customer service and tell them what's going on and see if they can give you more information.

I've gotten some of these, and I answered an people were calling me DIRECTLY from Mexico. So I guess that's what happens when the use their phone, without a calling card. Probably not just Mexico, probably any foreign country.

It's a spoof. A program that allows scammers to use any number they want to show up on your caller id

It's probably an error code for your phone, it doesn't look like a phone number.
If it is a phone number just block it on your phone if you don't want to receive it.
Read your phone manual or take it to one of your carriers outlets and ask them.

usually that is a call from the company you got your phone from. like i have a cingular cell and get text messages from that same number saying stuff about free ringtones, etc.
if you are worried about it, call up the company and ask about it.

Take 1 minute and answer... it could be long distance.... I think its dumb to not answer a phone call because you do not recognize the number. What if it were an emergency? Geez.
