I'm with Vodafone at the moment, but Virgin are offering a better deal. I've never had any problems with V/f, but Virgin seems alot cheaper.

I just bought an unlocked phone that needs a sim card. the company I am with does not take sim cards what do I do? Is the phone no good with my plan?

I just bought a motorola RIZR Z3 and it's great, but this icon has appeared at the top (in the same place that the little coffee cup meaning games appears) and I don't know what it means, why it's there, or how to get rid of it. It's starting to annoy me.

It's a little circle with blue squares at each corner and 2 lines in the shape of a V (kind of) in the middle. I think it looks like a clock but I'm not sure, and I tried deleting all my alarms or anything that might be represented by a clock, but it's still there.

Anybody know why? It just appeared a couple of days after I got it. I can't find it in the instruction book and I want to know how to get rid of it.

My phone began having problems when the side buttons would no longer work. Then the phone began to get very warm. The screen flashed once (just was white) then the phone turned off. It will no longer turn back on. I don't have insurance for my phone and I don't know what I can do.

okay my phone has been fine ever since i got it and then last night i turned it off and then i turned it back on and this box pops up that says "initial programming needed".

i tried changing back to NAM1. nothing happened.

i called *228 and it said "calling activation" but then it said "calling programming" and underneath it said "unsuccessful". so obviously that didnt work.

i have absolutly no service but my contacts, pics and ringtones are still entact. the only thing that doesnt work is the date, time and obviously dialing/receiving phonecalls and texts.

does anybody know how to get my phone back to normal?

just so you know:

my phone is a samsung a870. my provider is verizon wireless.

please help me !!!

I dont want to sell them on ebay because you'll get some dodgy nigerian trying to rip you off, take them down a phone shop and you get rock bottom price i understand that the shop owners need to make a living but sometimes they offer ridiculously stupid low prices and knock them out at as new price.

Hey im trying to get my parents to let me have a cellphone but they say itll cost alot to get the plan and crap ...i told them i dont care if its a good cell phone or a crappy one and i told them i could pay for the plan and ther phone itself but i still havent convinced them yet...any ideas please?

My grandmother has been wanting to get me a cell phone for a while. Now we are trying to find out if its possible to get a cell phone for a reasonable price. She doesn't want to have to recieve a bill every month or pay on credit and I don't want to have a pre-paid phone because those are expensive to keep having to buy cards for. Is there any alternatives like where you can pay just cash ahead of time every month and get a cell phone with reasonable charges in corpus christi, texas???

My brother gave me a phone(just to play around w/) just recently it keeps asking for the SIM #, but he doesn't know where the SIM card is, after messing around with it, it finally let me put in *#06#, then it goes to a bunch of #s (356866000139760) I've tried putting them in where i put in *#06#, but it won't accept it. PLS HELP!! Thank U

Why is this? The others others took a while to be stored, but eventually were but the rest can't.



There's 114 pics left, yet it says 'Images and videos stored at 22/02/07 to computer. Images and videos erased from phone. No new images to be stored.'


I think it may be to do with the remaining images have names like 'Tower Bridge pic 2' while the others already in the computer are just simply 'Image 262', but I'm not sure.


I've tried changing the settings and search on the help page on the PC Suite but nothing seems to fix it. The connection with the phone via the CA-42 cable is fine too. Can anyone help, as I really need to clear all the pics off this mobile.
