I just bought a motorola RIZR Z3 and it's great, but this icon has appeared at the top (in the same place that the little coffee cup meaning games appears) and I don't know what it means, why it's there, or how to get rid of it. It's starting to annoy me.
It's a little circle with blue squares at each corner and 2 lines in the shape of a V (kind of) in the middle. I think it looks like a clock but I'm not sure, and I tried deleting all my alarms or anything that might be represented by a clock, but it's still there.
Anybody know why? It just appeared a couple of days after I got it. I can't find it in the instruction book and I want to know how to get rid of it.

I know what the coffee cup means!
It's the weird clock-like thing that's in the same place as the coffee cup usually apears that I want to know about.

It's definitely not a G in the middle. It's more like a J actually.

if its a V then not sure, but if its a G then it means that your service provider has GPRS,

The coffee cup is the Java icon - if a game was started and you exited without shutting down the game, then the icon will be there to tell you the game is still running. Go into the games or whatever application is run by Java and end it and your coffee cup will disappear.
The other icon sounds like your GPRS icon. That's usually beside your signal strength indicator, and it's the SMS carrier. That is usually there, and if it's absent, it means you don't have SMS coverage.

The little coffee cup symbol means you have a java application running could be a game and its probably paused you need to go into your game and check each game when you find the game thats been running quit the game and the icon will disappear.

it is kinda funny you asked ...everyone askes me this...lol...when i seen you said what does this icon on my phone mean i thought to my self i bet its the coffee cup and it was lol.......its java it is a game thing you will need to go into your phone and find the java option it may be under games and you will just need to turn it off and it will be gone just keep looking for java it will be there

Yes as mentioned above it's a game application. all it mean;is is you have a game that is still running, go into the games and close which ever game is running
