Also, is the call quality fairly good? Like can the people on the other end hear you well? I've read user reviews that people have experienced dropped calls and people can't hear them that well. Thanks!

I have the T629 and tell you the truth is the bitrate its not like 16kb/s or 192kb/s the sound sounds poorly and that asucks, ya 1gig of memory(bough sepratly) and its real bright, kinds hard to see in direct sunlight though, if your are a texter it will take about 1wk to get used to the keypad cause it is so flat, and smooth, the phone plays music great through the headset, and what ever, wonderful games, and option pictures what ever i love em' on da phone, the quality sucks if you have 2 or less bars but other than taht it great to hear and they can hear, you can recieve any type of text sms e-mail, IM, what ever it great, but you konw T-mobile has a Nokia phone that is out that gives more for the same price....trust me get the Nokia, i'm planing on switching...to that phone check it out at www.tmobile.com...phone it great

I have the t629. It's a really good phone. The sound quality for the music is pretty good through the speaker. I'm not sure about through the headset, since I use a Bluetooth headset and it doesn't play over the Bluetooth headset. IM'ing uses text messages. If you plan on doing a lot of IM'ing, I suggest getting the unlimited messaging bundle. For single lines, it's $14.99/month. For family plans, it's $19.99/month and it covers all lines on the family plan.

it uses up your text messages! I always go over because when you send an IM to someone it counts every single IM and they really add up! Good Luckkkk!
