Cell Phones & Plans - January 2007

i'd like it to at least have mp3s, a radio and a camera. also, i want to be able to connect it to my computer and put mp3's on it. i have the razr now and i really don't like it.

ok my brother has the chocolate and he is paying like 60 dollars a month...if i added a line on the internet would i have to pay the full price of the motorola q if i wanted it as the phone to add or would i get the price as if you were getting a new contract........

When i try to call somebody message appears saying "Check Operator Services" and call ends. I can't take any out going call. Incomming calls are receiving. Check with network provider my SIM is working properly.

We have the boost mobiles we use and its cheap but we hear cingular is offering it too. its 4.99 a mo. for 500 min ?does anyone know exactly how it works? How much it will cost is it like regular minutes?its a dollar a day to just use the ptt with the boost plan?

I recently bought a cingular pay as you go phone. Today, i bought a 25 dollar refill card for it. I tried following the instructions on calling them to update my minutes. The machine told me to enter the 10 digit code on the card which i did and i can't get any farther than that. All it does is repeats the same message. How can I fix this problem? Thanks

I have an LG Chocolate phone, and I put music on my mini SD card and I still can't listen to any music, when i open up the enternal memory option, it says there's no file, and when i select the option to scan for new music it says there is none. Does anyone know if there's a particular way to save files on the mini card, I do it the same as I would with any other mp3 player or removable disc.

My friend says he can use the songs he has downloaded from limewire and put them as his ringtones. He doesen't remember how he did it though, otherwise i would be asking him. He says he was able to cut a part of a song and download it onto his verizon cell...any clues on how he could have done this

rings, I hear the same buzzing noise coming from my TV. This even happens if a text message comes through. So my question is, I tried to record the cutest message of my son from my cell phone onto a small olympus digital voice recorder but when I play back the recording that same buzzing sound I have mentioned drown's out anything my son is saying. Anybody know what causes that darn buzz and what I can do to eliminate it from drownding out whatever I am recording?

I get several text messages from Sprint (my carrier) per month..all advertisements. Luckily, I have unlimited text messaging. But what happens if you are charged per text message? Isn't this an evil business practice?

We were going to sign up for a cell phone plan. A sales person told us we could try it first and had a month to come back and return the phones and cancell at no cost to us. We decided not to get this plan and returned our cell phones and cancelled the next day. A month later we received a bill with a monthly fee charge. We called the company and said that we cancelled. They appologized, and said we had to go to the store again to cancell it, because it didn't work the first time for some reason. We did that (and had to pay some small fee) and cancelled it AGAIN! They told us we are no longer going to receive these bills and everything is taking care of. A moth later we got another bill!
What should we do? Is there anybody higher than a call center rep that we can maybe try reaching and talking to about this ongoing problem? It is a big well-respected phone company but after dealing with them I would never recommend it to anyone.
