yes it does... and it is a really cool phone.. not so good on the pics... but everything else is awesome..

T mobile uses GSM network. So any phone sold by T-Mobile including the Sidekick 3 requires a sim card in the back of the phone in order for the phone to work.

Yes it does, I think it uses a 2g network and you can get the hiptop plan at Telstra... It comes with the phone aswell, obviously! If I said anything wrong I appolagise but I have been researching this phone BIG TIME! I SO WANT ONE! They are real popular in America but Australia not so much... YAY! I have a strange thing about being an individual and phones is one of them... Very few people know about it.. (jumps for joy)
