Well, until the Apple iPhone comes out I'd say your best bet would be a Sony Ericsson phone. Both the Sony Ericsson W810i or the Sony Ericsson K790 offer everything you want.

The W810 has a 2 megapixel camera and depending on the memory chip you get can hold up to 4GB of songs.

The K790 has a 3.2 megapixel camera but is currently more expensive (and a tad bigger)

Personally I'd jump at the w810 (because of price and size) if you can get a good price, but you should look at both for yourself.

There are plenty of other phone options but you can't go wrong with these two phones.

sound quality alone? i'd go for the Sony Ericsson phones. Like the other dude said, those phones are excellent for mp3 playback. My recent SE Walkman phone was the w850i white slider phone and I can tell the sound is superior than my Nokia N80, using the headsets that is (N80 is louder when using speakerphone feature). That extra Bass gets me pumping! You can also adjust the equalizer according to your taste and make a playlist (and the updated Walkman 2.0 version is a plus! makes organizing your playlists even easier) and you can listen to ur mp3's the whole day with a full-charged battery. Another is the Nokia 5300 XpressMusic slider phone which I believe is affordable and has extra features on it or the more expensive smartphone Nokia N91 which has a 4GB or 8GB capacity hard drive and is pretty much Nokia's best music smartphone until N95 hits the streets. Apple iPhones will not be released until Summer of '07. And I went "OUCH!" when I saw the price! What's worse is it's an exclusive only for Cingular but I believe in a later time, unlocking it would be likely to happen.

I recommend Nokia 5300 Xpressmusic...its in the name itself and i do own this phone and i really like it especially the Side button keys..It has a 1.3 Megapixel Camera,Stereo Speakers and visual radio..and its acts like an MP3...storing mp3s is kinda breeze and easy.
