Consumer Electronics - 1 October 2006

My question is i have a panasonic pv-gs150 DV, now when i burn a disk to play on my dvd player for tv it doesnt recognise it but it will on computor, what am i doing wrong and what should it be to vonvert over to dvd.. I have nero and all the others so their is no problem on down loads or burning as i also have a dvd burner and maker on computor i know one of yous got it together

I have a 20 gb iPod and it doesnt work anymore. I was just going to buy a better iPod, one that shows videos too, but since it's from Apple, it might mess up like the first one. So what kind of mp3 player is good to buy? I need one with a lot of storage and one that can play videos. Thanks!

I've been working the past few weeks, and thought I'd treat myself to something nice, such as an MP3 player.

So, simple question: at a reasonable price range (say, 70 to 100), what MP3 player would you recommend? Also, I don't care about brand name (i.e. iPods), I just want it to be functional, durable, and have good sound quality.

Also, I'm not too keen on how much it can store. 512 megabytes to 1 gigabyte would be more than enough for me.

I have a uniden cordless phone which needs 9V DC 210 mA supply. The adaptor conked one day. Since I did not have time to get a new one immediately, I used a spare Motorola 6V DC 350 mA as a stop gab measure, the unit is functioning well. I have been using the phone for a week. My question is: will the base unit get affected because of 3V difference in supply in the long run?
