I think that means not to be used for anything other than chopping and grinding food. Just like the directions on a blow dryer- not to be used while showering.

It's just a way of saying if you use it for any purpose other than it's intended purpose, and something goes wrong, you can't claim anything from the manufacturer. It's called a 'Disclaimer'

well, i like to think the other use could be a sick method of torture, think of the damage a food processor could do to somebodies hands.... I'd talk
