First time on here, and I heard people talking about points and stuff so, care to explain?

My computer has been freezing a lot especially if I am using Myspace and yahoo messanger together. I did a free spyware/ adware scan on my computer and It said that I had 154 registry problems 74 cookie problems and 15 infected files. I want to use a spyware/ adware software tool removal program off of the internet but I don't know which one will be the safest one and which one works the best. It is for windows 98.... I also did another scan and it said I had over 2,000 worms. I am wondering if these scans are just crap trying to get you to spend money and won't actually fix the problem. It still works just very slow sometimes and freezes quite often. If anyone knows of a good program please help me Thank You!

Does anyone here use Limewire? I heard that Sony and another company sued them and I dont know what happened. I don't want to get in trouble by the government, but I still want to download music. Does anyone know any other programs I can use to do that? Or should I just go back to Limewire?

I have word on my computer, and i came installed when i bought it, but everytime i go on it... it askes me for the 25 character product key on the back of the CD case od my Certificate of Authenticity... but I never bought the program so i don't have that... it came installed, I don't understand!

I'm not sure what version of Ares I have. By Ares I mean the music downloader. I've had this version for a long time. Now it's giving me some problems. So I was told to update my version. If I do update my version will I lose all the songs I have on my Ares already?

I need to create a presentation that will be recorded on DVD's for viewing on a regular home DVD-player.

I would like to create it as interacive as possible, as it is for an NGO that supports various projects and I would need then various menues and submenus (one for each project)

The presentation will consist of slideshows and music. photogalleries, etc.

I am looking for something similar to iDVD but for Windows and as professional as possible.

I've recorded a family video onto a DVD via my stand alone DVD recorder but when I try to use Nero to edit it on the pc it shows as a DVD Rom and says the disk structure is unreadable yet Nero will play it, any suggestions?

Heres what I want to do. I like certain parts of certain songs. I hate listening to the whole thing to hear one verse. So I want to cut out the verses, or parts I want, and string them together, then add another track in the background so it sounds like a different song...if any of that makes sense...

I have been backing up my DVD collection for a while, using DVD+R, and using Nero, or DVD Shrink to burn them, now I can only burn to DVD-R anyone know why this has changed, I am using the same disk as before, same programs, but using the DVD+R it comes up as failed to burn.
