There's not such a thing, the extension file must be avi, like this:
Pulp Fiction.avi
It's a movie file, you can play it as you play mpg, wmv, mp4 but you must install special codec to view the movie.
This is a very good one.

delete the las part (.001) and it will played.
your file should be ".avi" !

It is a split file. You need to get a program to merge the files. There is a program called fast file saw and joiner that you can use.

Be suspicious of the file, it might have a virus attached to it. If your virus scanner gives you the all-clear, then it's a simple matter of renaming the file to "name.avi".
