Did they provide you with a full or trial copy? And even if it came pre-installed, they should have provided you with a serial (I don't know if there is a true OEM version which does not require a serial to be entered).

several places to look.what you are looking for is a sticker with a green background. if its a nokebook look on the bottom of the notebook. If its a PC then look somewhere on the case or on the back of the case or monitor. In rare cases you have some cd's and manuals look in there for the cd key. If none ofthose work then call teh store where you got it from. Word came withyour new system so you should enjoy it.

Did you buy the computer when it was new? If you did, the Microsoft Word should come in one of those packages that came with the computer. And you can find the serial key on one of those CD cases. If you don't have any of those packages, you can call the company where you purchased your computer from for the serial key.

However, if you purchased your computer from a person (not from a company), you will either need to call his person for the serial key or you will need to uninstall Microsoft Word

You should have gotten the paperwork for all of your installed programs. Check through them, if you still have the papers.

If not, call the computer maker. They should have it on file. Give them your computer ID number (usually on a plate on the back)

Call the store where you bought it and ask them for it.

Or, if you bought it new then you should have a cd that came with it. Check on that and see if you can find the Certificate.

Good Luck
