Does anyone here use Limewire? I heard that Sony and another company sued them and I dont know what happened. I don't want to get in trouble by the government, but I still want to download music. Does anyone know any other programs I can use to do that? Or should I just go back to Limewire?

Okay here's the skinny....Limewire is bad for your computer, bad for the artist and musicians you rip off by not actually buying their music and bad for music and art in general.

Here is a low cost solution. If your an indie music buff www.emusic.com is a low cost site that will charge you per month,. The charges are any where from $10 for 40 downloads to $30 for 90 downloads a month. If your into popular music www.napster.com is great site for downloading pop music for a low monthly cost.

Go ahead and sacrifice two big mac meals a month for legal downloaded music. Ah now doesn't that feel good?!

Its flawlessly authorized to make use of Limewire and Limewire professional. Its best what you down load and wether you're entitled to a replica is a further factor. To down load William Peterson is unlawful if you don't already possess the dvd. You ought to purchase it or would possibly emerge as buying 10,000 copies of the dvd and potentially jail time....if you're traced and free in court docket.

Once you download one song illegally, you can get sued. So once you start, you can stop, but all that means you dont get free music. There is probabbly less of a chance to get sued by the RIAA but they still can sue you. You can also try this site

I don't see why you cant just get a job and buy your music. Every time you download a song, thats revenue lost from your favorite singer, which makes it less attractice for them to create new songs for you and everyone else to listen too.
