I have deleted a few programs in the past on my computer. Today i did a search to see what is on here still and all the itens i have deleted are still there in some form. How can I delete these?

Has each newer version of Windows always been better than the one it replaced? (I heard that Millenium was worse than Win98 because it was a rush release and it had too many bugs in it)

i installed active sync for my windows smartphone and when i finished a window poped up saying to try nero mobile.
i installed it but i dont know how to use it.
it looks good though.
can some refer me to a site where it does?
i tried looking on the nero site but i couldnt find it.

Can documents/folders/pictures/etc... be saved onto a DVD in data form like you can a CD as long as its in Data Form, or can only video and audio be saved onto a DVD and can the audio/video be saved inside a folder when i burn it. The reason i am asking is because my computer may have a glitch due to the power knocking out about half a week ago, and i may have to completely restore my computer from the beginning and i need to save some large data.

I meet a lot of different people everyday and I have friends, but sometimes I forget what are their hobbies or favorite foods. I want to keep a record of all my friends and with their pictures along with what they like so whenever I meet up with them, I will remember them. Is there a program out there that can properly keep this info. If so what is it? thanks

A week ago I got an external hard drive for my computer since I was running low on my memory.
I eventually moved all my music to the external hard drive.
And alas, this created a problem.
iTunes cannot find my music anymore! I would have to individually, for each song, go to the file where I put it and help iTunes find it. This would be fine... if I had a few song. There's a problem though, I have 9 gigs worth of music. It would take forever for me to go through all of my songs and tell iTunes where my music is. Is there any way for iTunes to do this automatically?

I just tried to install Diskeeper, a commercial defrag program. The install caused my computer to crash. Although the install barely lasted 5 seconds, it did go far enough to take the defrag program that comes with Windows off of the accessories/systems tools program menu.

There is no Diskeeper in the add/delete programs thing so I have no way of undoing whatever it did when it installed.


Ok, how do I get the Windows XP Defragment program back is the main question.
