you may require an updated version of windows media player, or perhaps its because the pc's dvd region may be locked.

try using some dvd programs to get more info on the dvd you copied, that should tell you what the problem is.

You can try to rip the DVD on your comp first and than burn it again on your comp.

Get the right player for it like Qtime or the VLC player they play almost any file.

try power dvd you should be able to get a free download of it or try limewire
