I recently upgraded to Windows XP from Me. The one thing that I have noticed is that even though at system boot, Num Lock is on, when XP loads, it turns the num lock off.

Can someone please tell me how to make the num lock stay on?

my computer says it detects a virus.. now, i told my friend bout this and he says its just gona make it worse if i click on the little icon.

i downloaded SpyBot already, and it said it corrected everything but why is this little icon still popping up?! and why are the popups that is supossed to go STILL poping up?!
what can i do!?!??!
help pllleaaseee.
ialready tried deleting everything thats not suposed to be on here on
Adding & Removing Programs.
but its KEEPS doing it.

Volunteer medical doctor working in refugee camps since 1971 located in war zones used "Global Link Language Translator". My last two years has been in Iraq with 45C heat my CD's were warped. Any one know where you can find a link to download this software. I have a valid registration key. This software goes back to 1998 and I am unable to find a download link or the company via any search engine. Need to reinstall the program.

i want a cooler program than AIM to use because im getting tired of the look of AIM and i want something more simple and possibly transparent. i want to be able to talk to all my other friends that still use AIM though. ive tried that program 'trillian' and ive looked at all the skins on the program and none of them even look better than AIM.

I'm looking for a laptop that's pretty cheap and I don't know where to find one! I've been to Circuit city, ebay, Walmart, Amazon, and a whole bunch of other places!!! I don't want to pay over 450 dollars for one, and I don't want a used on either, because of course, they're probably bad. I also want it to have word and paint on it, so software but I don't need the internet on it either. Any suggestions? Please, I need all the help I can get!!!

I have gone to add and remove programs to remove some programs from my computer and get a message saying… Unable to locate the installation log file ‘e: /programs/Plextor/uninstall. Uninstallation will not continue. I have already gone in and tried to delete the programs manually and succeeded. However my computer will not register that the programs are gone instead it thinks that the programs are still in the E: drive. Unfortunately I no longer have an E: drive on my computer it was removed and replaced with a new hard drive which is now called H: drive. I am unable to reinstall any of my older programs because my computer still thinks that they are on my computer even though they are not. My computer has no viruses nor does it have adware or spyware. I have triple checked. If anyone has any ides on how to delete these programs please tell me. And no doing a search for them does not work because they are technically not there anymore.

When i turn my computer on, my Commit Charge (k)/ Virtual memory/PF Usage which ever one it is, is constantly increasing until it fills. My computer told me i was low on Virtual memory yesterday so i increased it to its max at about 3 gigs and I woke up this morning and i couldnt get any thing to work because the memory was full.
