Ive seen a few sites for how to make a digital picture into a wonderful water color pic. Anyone know how it is done and the website for information? Also Ive seen something that will change a digital pic into a coloring book type drawing for you to color in yourself. ?

From the Adobe website, http://www.adobe.com , you can get a 30 day trial of either Photoshop ($650), or Photoshop Elements 4 ($90).

From the Corel Website, http://www.corel.com , you can download 30 day trials of Paintshop Pro X ($80) or Painter ($380) or Painter Essentials 3 ($80) (Painter is the best for these kind of effects).

The cost may be worth it if you are anticipating a lot of use on them. At least you can try them out and see if it's something you want to invest in.

Painter Essentials 3 from Corel may do all you need, and it is affordable at $80 US.

You need Adobe PhotoShop. It has alot of filters that can change the look of your photo.

although a bit complicated, 'pixia' is a freeware program that does many things. give it a try, avail. from 'sanpfiles.com/freeware.
