i love using html but myspace is just getting to boring and i want to try new things. where can i find a website that makes me use html i tried geo cities but it dosen't use html it does it for you!

For example...you will type this %%U shortcut command in autocad if you wanted your text with underline...instead of using Icon.

I tend to think it's not because all the data we find on the internet
was outputted directly by humans. The internet could not have gathered information only to "learn" and converge on a single output.

I bought a domain from godaddy.com and I'm ready to jump in and design my page but I don't like any of the hosting sites templates. How can I just type in my HTML code on my own, without the templates?

it should be a single program, which takes two files and checks the equality between character by character. if it is not equal in all letters the output will be, how many letters are the equal characters.

I have phpMyadmin and i opened up my database.But i realized that the other people users passwords were MD5 Hashed. How do i see there real pass.Any SQL queries? I just need to view there pass and not change them. Please HELP!!

I am trying to understand creative commons liscencing on photos made available on this site called flickr.

Notice in the right column (near the bottom) it says "Additional Information ...Some rights reserved" with a link to a the rules for use: http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/2.0/ which says, "You must attribute the work in the manner specified by the author or licensor..."

I do not see a attribution manner *specified by the author in any photos under creative commons liscence on flickr.

The .asp files on my windows 2003 web edition server are not associated with any applications on the server and hence the file graphic is the default windows "im confused" graphic. I tried associating the files with internet explorer but when i open them in IE i get the code typed out on the page instead of it executing. Is there a reason why the server wont recognise asp files and is there a way i can fix this ?

I want to know how to create a GIF image with more than 256 colors. DON'T SAY YOU CAN'T. You can, like the one shown when you first log in to Yahoo Mail Beta. It has mor ethan 256 colors.

Is there special software you have to buy, or do you have to "inject" special code or something? Please tell me exactly how to do it. (It must be free.)

Hey everyone!
Here's what I am doing:
in Databse1 I have item_tbl and itemfile_tbl
item_tbl has 30,000 rows of ID number and a price
itemfile_tbl has 4 rows of ID number and price

I need to update item_tbl with the four rows from itemfile_tbl... I use the following query...

update item_tbl
set sell_price=(select itemfile_tbl.sell_price/100
from itemfile_tbl
where itemfile_tbl.item_id = item_tbl.item_id)
where exists
(select itemfile_tbl.sell_price
from itemfile_tbl
where itemfile_tbl.item_id = item_tbl.item_id
AND
itemfile_tbl.sell_price/100<>item_tbl.sell_price)


My problem is that it takes 10seconds per item to update!
in all reality I will eventually have to update almost all 30,000 rows, but I'm using the 4 as my test data.
This means it will take a VERY long time (~70 hours)

Am I doing something wrong?? Please help, Thanks!
