I bought a domain from godaddy.com and I'm ready to jump in and design my page but I don't like any of the hosting sites templates. How can I just type in my HTML code on my own, without the templates?

This is all so over my head =(

And then what do I do with it once I've typed it into notepad?

Okay, I guess I'm not being specific enough in my question. I know how to write it, I know how to save it. I don't know how to get my notepad file to my webpage. How do I upload it or publish it?

I tried using Microsoft Front Page but it said I needed my ftp server and I have no idea what this is or how to find it on godaddy.com

Thanks again guys =)

Use webpage-making software like MS Frontpage or Dreamweaver or notepad (if you are really an expert in html) and save it in html format. Use index.htm for your homepage.

After you typed it in notepad, save it as 'filename.html'. make sure to type .html after the file name.
