oK HERES THE DEAL MY TOSHIBA 5005-S507 is acting extremely strange it will log in but itis all messed up. the colors are the worst and the resolution is the lowest, but when i try to change that it just freezes. also, on the windows loading screen, yhe colors are ALL messed up!!!!!!!!!!!!! HEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLPPPPPPPPPPPP!
(O YA I KNO HOW 2 FIX IT FROM THE BIOS MENU BUT I DONT KNOW HOW 2 GET THERE SO IF ANYBODY KNOWS THE BOOT KEY COMBINATION PLEASE TELL ME THE ONE FOR TOSHIBA!!)

I have a strange suspicion that computer memory degrades over time. There are millions of transistors, each with a Poisson dist. probability of failure at any given time... obviously when one transistor goes the whole circuit does not fail. But when a ptg of transistors fail say over 3 years, does the memory actually get slower?????

I format my computer about every 1-2 years, but it always seems to be slower even running the same software. Anybody know if this is correct and how you know?

I want to run my "Windows Vista Home Premium" and "Mac osX 10.4.6 X86" and have a dualboot system .....as i am new to this, please give me any possible info and i'll be grateful ...

currently my Vista Premium is doing and no probz at all, i have 20GB Partition on my Raptor in case i need for mac ...I want to be able to chose which operating system to boot when i startup ....my main system is gonna be Vista, and mac is for fun and other productivities ....any help will be greatly appreciated ........thank you ....

I have a UPS installed on my desktop. Whenever I check UPS functioning by switching off the power button (with which UPS is connected) it works fine, but when I switch off the main supply line of the house, the computer re-starts & all whole work is lost. That means the UPS didn't function at that time.
Please read carefully, I have already verified my UPS, by connecting a another NEW UPS to the computer, but the problem won't go. It again restarts when I cut off the main supply of the house. What could be the cause ? I have never come across such an issue. Kindly provide with specific reasons.

Hello, I'm running Windows XP, and I just got some new themes. Whenever I try to use these themes, however, it changes my sounds, mouse cursor, desktop icons, etc accordingly, but my entire start bar stays the same (though I know it should change). One of the themes was sent by my friend, so I know they're working properly. Does anyone know why my start bar won't change?

I have tried with IE7 and Mozilla... The browser just freezes... I have tried to do with another computer just to check if there is a problem with my ISP... It worked... I guess there is someting in my computer by I couldn't figure it out neither does the Norton antivirus

When I have deleted unwanted material from my computer, it does not remove everything. I have twice found myself on pages of banners, pictures, bits and pieces, writing and other stuff that I've not known was there, then been able to delete it. But I do not know how I have got there, its usually appeared when I've been doing another task and I haven't thought to write down the way I have found it.

I recently plugged my shuffle into my laptop (which it had never been one with ) anyway, since then I have been having major pop up problems and my computer does weirf things like the screen will move up and down on a page when i have not touched anything or i will be typing and the page will change. I don't think you can, but I've seen my buddies log in as 2 different usernames. I've concluded that they use 2 different computers each logged in as a different username, but they sign off at the same time and go on away at the same time. If you can really do this, how?

i already checked viruses, disk fragmentation,

I copied pictures onto a disc and double checked to see if they were on it. It copied them fine. Since then, I had to reinstall windows xp and now it won't acknowledge the files. Every other disc I have works fine. HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!!!!!! I want my pics! (or blankie...whatever works) But seriously. I'm at a loss.
