LOL, chill, Sabrina.

Open the pic.

Now, go to File, on top.

Click on it and then click on Save as in the drop down Menu.

Select the destination as Desktop and click Save.

Now, click on the icon of the pic you see on the Desktop and right click on it to choose the option Copy and click on Copy.

Go to Start and click on it.

Go to All Programs and click on it.

Go to Accessories and click on it.

Go to Paint and click on it.

In the applet that opens, click the cursor in the blank page and right click and choose the Paste option.

If you can't get the Paste option, then just press ctrl and v together. It'll paste the pic there for you.

Now, go to File and Save as and rename your file as pic 2 or something like that. In the box below that you'll see the file formats. Click on the arrow mark pointing down and open the drop down menu there.

Choose jpeg for the format you want and click on Save.

You're home free!

Cheers!

Thats easy, open up the GIF file in any image editor, and save it as a Jpg format. MS Paint is in your accessory folder and that will work nicely Start -> Programs - > Accessories - > Paint.

Assuming you have a 'real' photo, you can scan it in and save as a jpeg file (default is usually .tiff) if you don't have a scanner, a cheaterbug way is to use a digicam and take a photo of your photo and then upload it. doesn't normally give you the best quality though.

Open it in a photo editing program and save it as a .jpeg

this function is usually under File --> Save As, which will bring up a window that allows you to choose where to save it as well as what to save it as in a drop down menu below the filename.

Good luck!

just right click the pic, go to save as, and in the save box you can change the file type in a drop down menu.
