I copied pictures onto a disc and double checked to see if they were on it. It copied them fine. Since then, I had to reinstall windows xp and now it won't acknowledge the files. Every other disc I have works fine. HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!!!!!! I want my pics! (or blankie...whatever works) But seriously. I'm at a loss.

It's a CD-R. And I haven't tried it on another computer.

Oh yeah, I can't even view the file. It's as if it's blank.

if you copied the same pictures on the same computer you are trying to open them on then you shouldnt have any problem opening them......

But also another problem could be the format of the picture Windows XP can't open all the types of formats that images use.............. this has happened to me before if you cant OPen your pics to see them but you can view the file itself on the cd i suggest you get (Solid Converter GX 1.1) its a program that changes your images in a different format so you can view them...... i think you might be able to use its FREE Download at DOWNLOAD.com

Are the files showing up but not opening? With what software did you originally open the files? Can you open them on another computer?

What kind of disc did you use? If you used CD-R, you're in trouble. If you used CD-RW, then you should have had it fine.

Select the disk and select properties to see if you put anything on the disk.
