We'll its a self defense software that cleans all files and data after had restarted to prevent any virus infections.
It will automatically rollback to previous or set time.
You have nothing to do to recover those
It's part of the cafe's security
Some say its a virtual drive your using. Maybe it is but thats what i can see.

We'll for solutions?
Buy a flash disk(USB disk) that you can store all your movies and files.
Never restart the PC when your not done yet or all your files will be gone!
This days, USB are now cheap. Buy a 1 GB or 4GB or higher for your handle portable file storage.

Hope this could help...
Star for me pls...
TY!

1 . when you are downloading something from the internet , you click the download button which opens a small window which gives you options such as , "RUN"," SAVE" and "CANCEL".from this you have to select the "Save" option and save it to a location so that you can find the file after you restart the computer.

2. If the above answer doesn't work try this , download mozilla firefox which is a web browser like the internet explorer it will directly save your download to the desktop.so that you can save the file to your desired location after download is completed.the file will be safe forever, you can download mozilla firefox rom the following location

1) First see to it whether you are in ADMINISTRATOR login or you can not install or save any content, newel y you can only use existing content. Even if you download any content you will be saving but lose it if you restart.

2) If you are not in administrator login then save your content in your present logins documents(C:Documents and Settings\your login name\My Documents)
and under video or music or picture folder.

3) Before trying first time when not sure will it work better take a cd or pen drive and write the content for safety.

You have not mentioned what type of network is there in the cafe. If it is domain based than you must have permission to save files, ask system administrator for permission. If net work is work group than you can only download & save in shared folder And not any other folder.

Buy a USB memory key / other external drive and save to this.
Internet cafe's will always have a process to wipe systems back to default settings on a reboot / end of day. This is precisely because people save things they shouldn't.
