I'm worried about NTSB/PAL incompatibilities and the voltaage difference for the power supply...........

I turn my computer on, as you do, and a few seconds after, turn the monitor on. Theres only one problem with that. The monitor won't stay on. As soon as the password screen opens the screen flickers (Sort of like turning of and off) Its not flickering though to be exact, its more like a flash. The screen will flash up the image, then 'turn off' for a few seconds and flash the screen up again.

The only way i can get it to work after that is hold the on/off button down towards the end of of 'off' part of the flicker/flash, leave it for five minutes and then turn it back on. Its a bit rubbish, obviously, because this can take a while!!!

I don't know what is wrong, whether its the monitor, the actual computer, graphics card or what. Really annoying and any help would be much appreciated!

I tried to display a powerpoint presentation from a laptop onto a projector screen. It worked but the screen was cutting off part of it. (You could see most of the slide but not all of it). To fix it I think you go into the "screen properties" or something on the computer to fix it?? If anyone knows how please help! Thank you. :)

Is there anyway to get into a computer? What I mean....You see on TV all the time that crime labs can examine a computer and know everything that went on inside of that machine, even if the user thought he deleted things, cleared history, etc. I'm pretty sure that's real and not sci-fiction...lol! Well, without purchasing any fancy expensive software, is there anyway to do this? If someone out there knew how to, could you walk me through it either on Yahoo answers or contact me via email? My target area on the machine would be emails. Is that possible without passwords? Oh, this is my computer and incase you havnt figured it out, I think my hubby is cheating on me, and one way or the other I WILL catch him. If you want details on that, view my other qusetions.
