I re-booted mine's 3 days ago and I had to do it again today. I have a Dell Dimension computer (4600 Series); I called tech support and they walked me thru the re-boot process 3 days ago.

Everything. You should reboot your computer once in a while because any programs you run tend to suck up resources and not give them back, even after you close the program.

When this happens over days or weeks, the computer gets all screwy.

But I have an inkling you did more than just reboot it.

Check the cables of HD. It normally happenes because of boot device faliur. Check the RAM too. Press the RAM softly into the slot. IT may be also OS problem.
