If it's always off by exactly two hours, you may have it set to the wrong time zone.

The system battery is going bad. It's a little watch battery that sits on the motherboard that keeps the time when the computer is switched off.

Take the cover off the machine, remove battery, buy another from Walmart, replace.......Job done.

dbl clk the clock and read the screen that comes up. Make certain you have the correct time zone etc. set. If it is a newer computer there is an option for the time to be automatically set. You may want to check that option.

If you reset it and it keeps getting off then you could have a faulty clock battery... I've owned several computers and have never experienced that problem...

try replacing it...
