Okay, I know that if you are typing programs on a mac computer, you use true basic, but what do you use on a windows computer?
I would like to know so I can get more practice for my computer science class.

What a mean is what program do you use to type programs that make your computer do something like math equations. If you were to look at the program, there are a bunch on numers down the left side.

just install visual basic 6.0, its damn easy ... and you can make programs with good GUI with it. whenever u wanna run it .. just click file menu and select make exe ... and you have an executable for the code which you have written ... :)

A lot of people use Wordpad or Notepad to do computer programming using a Windows based system.
Not dumb at all! But the program with numbers down the side is Microsoft Excel.

The "basic" computer language was developed by Microsoft. It has since become Visual Basic. Windows is based on a whole other language. I would be shocked if Macs are now using the original Basic.

If you mean which program does Windows use to type things up, its Microsoft Word.
